With this in mind, replacing the LED bulb may not always fix the concern. In the case of dimming, the power supply must be toggled quickly to create the desired effect in LED lamps.

For LEDs, an incompatible dimmer could be the culprit. To address this, one should make sure the dimming component is designed to work with the specific LED light. Furthermore, the LED fixture should be capable of dimming, as some variants are non-dimmable.

Achieving Constant Current

If lack of constant current is the concern, it is important to take a closer look at the LED power supply, which comes in the form of an LED driver. The lighting component converts AC voltage to DC voltage for electrical compatibility. A high-quality LED driver can make supply more consistent, resulting in the elimination of flicker.

When troubleshooting for the root cause of the concern, it is recommended to pay close attention to the rate of flickering. If the flickering is inconsistent, then the compatibility is likely the solution. On the other hand, if flickering is countable or displaying a rhythmic pattern, the concern is probably the power supply or LED driver.

Lastly, wiring and loose connections may also contribute to LED flicker. Before attempting to replace any parts in the system, one should double check the wires first to ensure proper connection.
